Freddy’s History
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers first opened in 2004 in Wichita, Kansas. There were three co-founders: Bill and Randy Simon (brothers) and restaurateur Scott Redler. The namesake of the restaurant is WWII veteran, Freddy Simon, father of brothers Bill and Randy. Sadly, co-founder Bill Simon passed away after a battle with cancer in 2016.
Today the restaurant remains a privately owned and family-oriented company. Freddy’s prides itself on not only its tasty menu items, but the standards they uphold for both customer service and restaurant cleanliness.
